Abilities Centre in collaboration with Durham Region is hosting the second annual Durham Accessibility Conference.

The theme for this year is Power of Inclusion: Moving Accessibility from awareness to action. This free virtual conference features keynote speaker Mark Wafer, Interim President & CEO, Abilities Centre and a panel discussion. Attendees will hear about the value that inclusion brings when we practice ability acceptance in the workplace and leave with practical tips on embedding accessibility throughout the employment cycle.

This free conference will support creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment - a place where each person can feel they belong and benefit from the organization’s collective success.

Real time captioning and American Sign Language interpretation will be available.
