IDEA Council Member:
The purpose of the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility (IDEA) Council is to provide advice and assistance to the Management Team on matters related to IDEA vision and strategy: to integrate and enhance IDEA in Abilities Centre programs, human resources, partnerships, fund development, facilities and technology. The collective aim is to be recognized as a leader and model of holistic IDEA in Canada and beyond by 2025. What is the minimum age to volunteer?

We accept volunteers who are 15 years old and older. 

What is the time commitment?

Depending on the role, time commitment can vary from one day to six months. 

What can I expect to do?

We have volunteer positions available in administration, camps, children’s programming, human resources, and more.
