Monetary Gifts
A monetary gift provide immediate impact to our programs and services. You have the flexibility to direct your gift to a program or service of choice, or allow us to use your gift to support an area identified as our “greatest need”.

Tribute gifts are gifts that are donated to honour, celebrate, or in memory of someone special. Thank someone special today by making a donation in their name. This type of gift gives a memorable experience to someone special, while making a difference to our members and participants.

Legacy Gifts
A legacy gift is a planned gift that is; left in a will, a transfer of life insurance policy ownership to the foundation, making the foundation a beneficiary of your RRSP, RRIF, Life policy or TFSA, or gifts of publicly traded securities. We know this decision can be overwhelming and we strongly recommend you seek expert advice before making any decisions about a Legacy Gift.

A corporate donation or pledge (gift made over a set period of time), to sponsorship opportunities at our Events or third party fundraisers, to the donation of gifts in kind, our corporate partnerships are essential and an extremely vital relationship to ensure the quality of life for all those we serve.

BBQ’s, Street Sales, Dress Down Days, or Pick an item on your menu, or a Service at your spa where a percentage could be donated to Abilities Centre to support programs and services…there are so many fun ways to raise money for a worthy cause. Abilities Centre is grateful for contributions of support from your school, community group, workplace or individually.

Attend or Support one of our Events
We host our own fundraising events annually to generate revenue to support Abilities Centre needs, join us, buy a ticket, register for an event, volunteer, purchase an auction item, or make your contribution a gift-in-kind that will increase support of our fundraising event and share upcoming events and activities.

Donate Your Old Car!
CharityCar.ca provides an easy way to do something good for the environment and for Abilities Centre. Donate your car to Charity Car, it is an environmentally friendly way to recycle your old car. Your recycling value of your car will be donated to Abilities Centre and we will issue a tax receipt for that amount to you for income tax purposes.
