Student athletes in Fort Providence now have the opportunity to develop their skills at a higher level with the announcement of a partnership between Deh Gah School and the Abilities Centre, an organization based in Ontario committed to creating inclusive and accessible communities. Thorsten Gohl is the physical literacy coordinator at Northern Loco, the Fort Providence organization that has facilitated the connection between the school and the Abilities Centre. He said the Academy for Student Athlete Development (ASAD) program offered by the Abilities Centre will bring in high-performance programming to grades 10 to 12 students at the school.
