The Physical Literacy & Inclusion workshop provides individuals with the platform to appreciate and acknowledge the holistic nature of physical literacy. Participants will be guided to critically reflect on their own physical literacy journey and develop the skills necessary to motivate and encourage individuals to be physically active in their own settings, beyond traditional sport.
Workshop facilitators will engage participants in a variety of discussions and activities that utilize a universal design approach to program facilitation that ensures all individuals, regardless of age, ability, background, or experience, are able to maximize their participation in an activity meaningfully.

Workshop facilitators will demonstrate a variety of strategies to facilitate inclusive physical literacy opportunities while giving practitioners opportunities to practice their learnings within the group. At the end of the workshop, all practitioners will leave with tangible tools and best practices to nurture the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding of physical activity experiences with whom they work.
