WHITBY, ON – Abilities Centre, an incubator for accessibility and inclusion, is proud to unveil the 2024–2025 Impact Report. This report highlights another transformative year of inclusive programming, meaningful partnerships, and measurable progress in the organization’s mission to create a better, barrier-free life for all Canadians.

Over the past year, Abilities Centre expanded its reach across Durham Region and beyond by growing program participation, advancing employment services, and showcasing our inclusive expertise on local, national, and international stages. With a strong focus on sustainability, collaboration, and innovation, 2024–2025 marks one of the most successful years to date in both mission and momentum.

“This year’s report is more than a snapshot of numbers. It’s a reflection of lives changed, barriers removed, and communities built through accessibility and inclusion,” said Michael Cvitkovic, Abilities Centre President and CEO. “Thanks to strong leadership from our Board of Directors, dedicated staff, and the support of our partners, we’ve strengthened our foundation and fueled the next phase of growth.”

A Stronger Future, Together

With a renewed sense of unity and purpose, the Centre is positioned to grow its impact further, while expanding access to inclusive programming across sectors, generations, and communities.

“We invite everyone to read this year’s report and discover the power of possibility when barriers are removed,” added Cvitkovic. “There’s still work to be done, but we’re proud of how far we’ve come.”
