Earlier this month, the Government of Ontario in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced that the province is requiring people to be fully vaccinated and provide proof of their vaccination status to access certain businesses and settings starting September 22, 2021.

In response to this announcement, Abilities Centre has implemented a mandatory vaccine policy which takes effect September 22, 2021. Please take some time to review the mandatory    vaccine policy along with our updated FAQ’s, which includes a number of revised facts such as our hours of operation and pre-booking information.

The vaccine policy applies to all members except those individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions and youth. In accordance with the Province, youth is considered as someone under 18 years of age who are entering the indoor premises of a facility used for sports and recreation solely for the purpose of actively participating in an organized sport, in accordance with Ministry of Health guidance.  For more details, please review the policy

For more details on public vaccination within our community you can review the Province’s New Requirement for Proof of Vaccination in Certain Settings FAQ

We thank you all for your continued support of Abilities Centre during this changing times. Your health and safety remains our highest priority and we look forward to continuing to welcome you back to our safe and accessible facility.

Sincerely,

Abilities Centre
