– Takes you through a total body conditioning workout using a variety of equipment, improving cardiovascular endurance and strength building. Court 1 – A low impact class that focuses on increasing full body strength, flexibility, and endurance to keep you mobile and active. Court 1 – For those new to Tai Chi, this 6-week Beginner Program offers a welcoming introduction to the movements and foundational concepts of the 24 Yang Simplified Form at a comfortable pace. Participants who joined the previous beginner session are also encouraged to continue building their confidence, technique, and understanding in this next phase of learning. Our Tai Chi program is designed to support overall wellness through gentle, accessible movement that benefits the body, mind, and spirit. The goal is to help participants improve balance, circulation, mobility, relaxation, and overall wellbeing while building confidence in movement and creating a sustainable wellness practice. This program is welcoming for both new participants and those continuing from our introductory 3-class series, allowing everyone to continue progressing at a comfortable pace while deepening their understanding of Tai Chi, stretching techniques, and Qi Gong practices such as The Eight Strand Brocade. Tai Chi is accessible for beginners and continuing participants, offering a gentle, low-impact way to improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and overall health. Consistent Tai Chi and Qi Gong practice can help reduce stress, increase energy, support immune health, and strengthen the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Theatre – This program is included with our Full Membership categories, including Family, General, and Senior Memberships. For those who do not hold a full membership, we also offer the option to purchase either a Recreation Single Pass or a 10-Session Pass to participate. Please note that these Pickleball sessions are drop-in and are not instructional programs. Participants are welcome to join for recreational play during the scheduled session times. A limited number of paddles and balls are available; however, we recommend bringing your own equipment whenever possible to ensure availability. Court 2 – Focuses on the connection between breath and the mind. Referred to as ‘flow’ because it moves from one pose to another in a continuous, smooth way on the mat. Studio 1 – Participating in a fitness class? Supervised children's programming is available for children while members remain onsite at Abilities Centre. Drop-off: 5:30 p.m. Playground – A high-energy indoor cycling class that boosts cardio fitness through energizing rides, hill climbs, and sprints for a powerful, full-bike workout. Court 1 – A full-body strength class designed to build muscle endurance and core stability using weights and controlled movements. Court 1 – A low impact class that focuses on increasing full body strength, flexibility, and endurance to keep you mobile and active. Court 1 – Focuses on yoga stretching postures along with breathing and mindfulness exercises on the mat to connect to the body.
