Creative Café

Creative Café is the space to explore yours.

This program gives participants the freedom and autonomy to express themselves through a wide range of artistic mediums, including visual arts such as painting, drawing, and sculpting, as well as dramatic arts, music, and dance. Each week, participants use creativity to express emotion, explore their interests and values, and work toward personal goals and strengths.

Beyond the artistic experience, Creative Café builds real and lasting skills. Participants develop the capacity to cope with change, communicate their feelings, and identify what matters most to them, all in a supportive, inclusive environment where imagination is always welcome.

Who is Creative Café for?

Creative Café is designed for youth and adults aged 14 and older with disabilities in Durham Region who want to explore their creative potential and connect with others in a fully accessible, inclusive setting.
