Hosted by the Whitby Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the MP Ryan Turnbull, MPP Lorne Coe, Town of Whitby, YMCA Durham, Durham Employment and Newcomer Center, John Howard Society, and the Abilities Centre, this annual event brings together employers, job seekers, employment agencies, and community partners for a day of networking, recruitment, and career development.
Event Schedule
10 a.m. – Opening & Reception with Key Stakeholders
11 a.m. – Resume Preparation and Interview Skills
12 p.m. – Power of Networking (30-40 minutes)
1 p.m. – Employers’ Expectations (30-40 minutes)
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Employer Booths Open
Throughout the day, job seekers can visit employer booths, network with hiring managers, learn about career opportunities, and participate in on-site interviews with participating organizations.
